Twitter Art Exhibit LA

I'm exhibiting at a Twitter Art Exhibit. Here's a brief explanation on their website:

 "Exhale Unlimited (E.U.) Gallery is proud to present Twitter Art Exhibit: Los Angeles, an international exhibition of original postcard art, benefiting Art Division, a nonprofit program for underserved youth (ages 18 – 25) showing commitment and passion for the visual arts. An opening reception will be held from 7-10 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at E.U. Gallery, in Chinatown’s Arts District. 

Twitter Art Exhibit: Los Angeles is the third installment of an open international exhibition of handmade postcard art donated by hundreds of artists from around the globe. "

My Irish Roots.

A Mystical Landscape

I used 50 layers in Photoshop to render Textured Earth One.  Lots of colors and opacity was used to give depth and dimension  It's here as a poster on Imagekind and soon to follow at Artist Rising. 

Literacy Head

My art was featured on the Literacy Head site. What is Literacy Head? A Literacyhead is someone who is intensely serious about exercising creative literacy, making connections across multiple literacies, pursuing thoughtful literacy as an individual and as a teacher, and constantly searching for ideas. Literacyheads may have expertise in different areas of literacy, but all are committed to children's literacy, passionate about the arts, incessant thinkers, and display a propensity for having fun.

More Palms - what can I say...

Yes - I fully admit I have a palm tree obsession. Why not - I have a summer obsession too so it goes together. This morning I painted this. Acrylic, 6 x 12 on wood panel  Now it's available on Artist Rising and Imagekind.

This one is getting noticed...

I created Three Teal Petals awhile back and it's starting to pick up in sales. I love the soft Tiffany Blue tones with a touch of teal. There are several that go together. Available here on Imagekind and Artist Rising.
