Cities Cities Everywhere!

I have been creating very simply designed city posters lately. They are created especially for digital downloads so that's the reason for the black and white tones. I tried some local and some not so local. Here we have Seattle, Oakland, Berkeley, Palm Springs, San Francisco and NYC. What other cities should I try?

All of these are available on my Etsy shop - My Daisy Downloads.

Here's something for Corporate and residential spaces

I really enjoy abstract landscapes - especially ones that are far off in the ocean so I had some 8x10 boards and decided to paint a few. Here is what I came up with. I scan them in at 600dpi and do some color correction and now they can go as large as 40" on the longest side for digital reproduction. I added them as posters to Artist Rising and ImageKind - all the links to these shops are on the right nav bar. Enjoy and as always thanks for visiting.

Art Happenings

Here's a quick update on art happenings. Two this week and one in July:

Thursday June 11th at the Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery in Lafayette I will be part of a group show with eight artists. The reception starts at 6:30 so please stop by, have some wine...maybe some cheese and say hi. And meet the artists! A new Mexican restaurant opened next door so plan to check out the art and stay for dinner.

On Saturday June 13th I am having a book signing from 11-1  at Mountain Grounds in Martinez. I wrote a 32 page zine and published it in limited quantities. Please stop by this great little indie cafe, grab some coffee and say hi.

Finally - Friday July 10 at The Collector in Berkeley I will be featured in a group exhibit. The Collector is a fabulous little shop in the Elmwood District and is a great place to pick up gifts, affordable art, jewelry and artisan home accessories. And the area is home to many great foodie stops so it's a fun Friday night event.
