Two New Minimalist Landscapes

I never get tired of painting these and I painted over two landscapes that were kind of boring. I firmly believe in not getting attached to all of ones work. Don't keep the bad stuff...use it to create something else. So here we have Morning Mist & Three Trees.  As always - they are available on Artist Rising and Imagekind

Tropics

Oh I cannot resist a palm tree so when I'm not feeling inspired for anything else I just whip out a palm tree and all is right with my world. It will be up on my Imagekind site soon along with Artist Rising.
Have a great weekend...think warm thoughts.

Light & Breezy

These feel like watercolor but they aren't. However...I think they are light and breezy and most definitely delicate. Light tones float in the background and floral silhouettes are sketched over them. As usual these pieces are available on Imagekind and Artist Rising.

Wild Grasses

Here are two new pieces that are fun wild grasses with bold retro backgrounds. I have  offered them as a set of two 8x8 prints on Etsy as well as posters in my Imagekind and Artist Rising shops.  I will also be adding product to my Zazzle shop with these new images.
Thanks for visiting!

Abstract Living

I source art for a living. And I love doing this and see so much out there. What I have noticed lately...is a lack of abstracts. I thought they would be so readily available ..so easy to find but that's just not so. And that is where my inspiration came from...so today I got my paints out and created these two little gems. 8x8 on wood a panel. Acrylic with graphite lines underneath the layers. Do you see them??
They are set up on Imagekind and Artist Rising as posters. And the originals are available.
Thanks for visiting.

Oh Palm Trees....

My fun art for today. Palm trees created with joy  - and lots of layers in Photoshop. I'm trying new styles with loose color finishes behind the illustrations to give it a freestyle feel. Once the color is in I bring the actual illustration to the front and all the color drops back. These images will be added to Imagekind and Artist Rising soon.
